Rabbi Moshe Winter, son of Rabbi Kalman Winter Z’tzal, grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. Rabbi Winter attended Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel of Brooklyn, NY for High School. He continued his learning at the Rabbinical Seminary of America (RSA) where he completed Bais Medrash and Kollel, culminating in receiving Smicha – Yorah Yorah Yadin Yadin in 2009. In 2011, Rabbi Winter founded Kehillas Bais Dovid, a shul in Kew Gardens Hills. As a Rabbi he has had the opportunity to inspire, teach, and direct his congregants. He has delivered Drashos and Shiurim that are thought provoking and interesting to members of all ages. His strong interpersonal skills and open minded nature have made him approachable, and both men and
women of all ages and levels of commitment are comfortable seeking his counsel. His leadership qualities and vision for individual and community growth have seen much success.
Mrs. Meira Winter (nee Berman) grew up in Toronto, Canada, in a home which displayed a love for Torah and Chessed. As she raises a family of 7 children BH, Meira creates a warm atmosphere in their home which has always been open to others. Meira is known amongst family members and women of their community as someone who is easy to talk to, displays a calm demeanor, and has a comfortable approach to life. With a Masters in Special Education, and working for the past 16 years at the P’TACH Program @ Yeshiva University High School for Girls, she has been a role model for many young women with learning differences. She is viewed as a mentor to her students and to all those who seek her counsel.
